THE TIME TO BUILD POLITICAL POWER FOR REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS IS NOW.

STATE-BY-STATE, WE ARE FIGHTING TO RE-ESTABLISH ABORTION ACCESS.

Project 50 is the only national organization working to establish and strengthen independent abortion rights political organizations in all 50 states. Our mission is to create a state-based political infrastructure to elect state legislators who will support and expand abortion healthcare access.

We CAN stop and reverse the backward slide in our rights by keeping voters focused on the extreme positions of anti-abortion candidates on election day and holding elected officials accountable once they are in office.

We are laser focused on keeping abortion healthcare legal & can message about the issue in ways that may not be possible for individual candidates or multi-issue organizations.

We meet voters where they are and use plain spoken language to call out anti-choice candidates for their extreme positions.

We establish a year-round presence in state capitals to ensure the people we help elect have the motivation and the tools to fight for reproductive rights on the day they are sworn into office.

We are only concerned with state offices — including legislators, governors, and judges that write, enforce, and adjudicate reproductive rights.

Choice wins on the ballot.

This past April, Janet Protasiewicz, the pro-choice candidate for Wisconsin Supreme Court, defeated anti-choice Daniel Kelly by over 200,000 votes in a pivotal victory that gives the Wisconsin Supreme Court a pro-choice majority for the first time in 15 years.

The result was not only the most expensive judicial election in American history but also a record-breaking 52% voter turnout increase, demonstrating that young voters will participate in elections in much higher numbers when they understand that reproductive rights are directly on the ballot.
